Paralegal Advanced Standing / Course Exemptions / Transfer Credits:
Cestar College reserves the right to approve or disapprove of previously earned paralegal course credits from another LSUC accredited/recognized institution.
If approved by Cestar College, a maximum of 3 course credits may be authorized.
In order to receive the aforementioned course credits, the student must meet the following criteria:
a) Student must meet with the Director for assessment of comprehension and knowledge of subject matter being discussed.
b) If satisfied with assessment, the Director shall arrange for the student to write the course exam related to the subject matter.
c) The Director shall invigilate the closed book exam.
d) A maximum of 3 hours will be allotted for the exam.
e) Upon receiving a passing grade of 70% or higher, course credit(s) will be granted.
