Cestar College Completes $4 Million Donation to Sarnia-Lambton Oversized Load Corridor
Cestar College is thrilled to announce the completion of our $4 million donation towards the Sarnia-Lambton Oversized Load Corridor.
“Cestar College is thrilled to be part of the Sarnia-Lambton Oversized Load Corridor project. ‘Cestar Dock’ serves as a symbol of the prosperous relationship between Lambton College and Cestar College, and we are proud to contribute to this vital infrastructure development initiative. With the ups and downs of the past two years, and the financial hardships many have faced, we are grateful to be able to give back to the community and to be part of a project that will have long-lasting impacts—not only within the Sarnia-Lambton community, but on the Ontario economy as a whole.” – Adrian Sharma, Chief Operating Officer of Cestar College
A critical corridor connecting Sarnia-Lambton’s industrial base with the Port of Sarnia, this route will allow for the unimpeded import/export and trans-shipment of oversized products, improving the competitiveness of local fabricators and large industry by reducing shipping costs, creating new jobs, and increasing the potential for the export of valuable locally manufactured vessels, reactors, and modules.
“Cestar is proud of its relationship with Lambton College, the City of Sarnia and the students who benefit from the work we provide in education. We are delighted to maintain our commitment to the City and people of Sarnia through this gift.” – Hufeng Chen, President of Cestar College.
